Data Validation Rules & Business Logic

Stock Status Logic: Items with qty ≤ 50% of minLevel → CRITICAL. Items with qty ≤ minLevel → LOW. Items with qty > minLevel → OK. Items with minLevel = 0 → N/A (WIP / Scrap).

Freshness Logic (FIFO): Expiry ≤ 14 days → CRITICAL (red). Expiry ≤ 45 days → WARNING (amber). Expiry > 45 days → FRESH (green). DOC chicks expire in 3-5 days by nature — flag immediately if not dispatched.

Slow Movement: Items with daysIdle > 90 are flagged as slow-moving. Items > 200 days → DEAD STOCK requiring write-off review. Items 120–200 days → HIGH RISK. This triggers a tied-up capital alert on the Summary Hub.
